New Points Reward System
We are excited to introduce a new Points Reward System at the College to recognise and celebrate students who consistently demonstrate positive behaviour, effort, participation and school values.
Students will earn points for:
Good attendance
Participating in school events
Positive behavior commendations
Demonstrating our school values
Achieving success in competitions
At the end of each term, students with the highest points will be invited to participate in a special reward activity to celebrate their achievements. This system encourages students to do the right thing consistently and helps us identify those who may need extra support and motivation. We aim to foster a positive and rewarding school environment where students are encouraged to strive for their best. We look forward to seeing our students thrive through this new initiative!

Adjusting to life at the College can be a big transition, especially for students who are living away from home for the first time. At The Hive, our Student Services Team has worked closely with Mr John Overton our Residential Manager and the Residential Supervisors to ensure students feel supported as they settle into College life.
We recognise that an Agricultural College’s unique environment presents exciting opportunities and new challenges. Through our coordinated approach, we have identified and assisted students needing extra guidance in adapting to their new surroundings, routines, and responsibilities.
Our team provides various support services, including health and well-being assistance, academic guidance, and emotional support. Whether adjusting to dorm life, managing workloads, or simply finding a friendly face to talk to, we are committed to helping every student thrive.
If you have any concerns about your child’s transition to College life, please don’t hesitate to contact The Hive on 9848 0275 or contact our team directly. We are here to help!
World’s Greatest Shave
Thanks to our School Captain, Zac Butler, who has taken on this initiative, we’re excited to share some wonderful news from the heart of our school community. This year, the College is proudly participating in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave, a remarkable initiative that unites communities nationwide for people facing blood cancer.
What is the World’s Greatest Shave?
The World’s Greatest Shave is an annual event organised by the Leukaemia Foundation, aimed at raising funds to support families facing life with blood cancer. This year, our school is getting behind this incredible cause, and we invite each and every one of you to be part of this meaningful journey. Students at the College can either colour their hair or buzz cut it to number 1,2 or 3.
How Can You Get Involved?
Sponsor our team: Our dedicated students, teachers, and staff are ready to make a bold statement by shaving, cutting, or colouring their hair, all in the spirit of solidarity. You can show your support by sponsoring them. Use this link to donate:

Why Join the Cause?
Participating in the World’s Greatest Shave is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a chance for us to come together as a community, teach our children the value of empathy and solidarity, and make a real impact in the lives of those affected by blood cancer.
Let’s Spread the Word!
We encourage you to share this exciting news with family and friends, and let’s make the World’s Greatest Shave a resounding success at Denmark Ag. Together, we can contribute to the vital research, support services, and care provided by the Leukaemia Foundation.
Thank you for being a part of this meaningful journey. Let’s show the world the strength and compassion of our College community!
